RN - Critical Care (PCCU) - Days

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCCU - Medical ICU (Open Heart Surgery and Neurosurgery Pods) Location: Elmhurst, IL Full-Time: 36 hours/week with rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays Key Responsibilities Develop, evaluate, and revise patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomesAssess patients, collect health data, and communicate with families and interdisciplinary teamsProvide patient and family education tailored to individual needs and cultural backgroundsCollaborate with colleagues, share knowledge, and support professional developmentOffer psychological support and assist technical staff with procedures and treatmentsParticipate in quality improvement, research, and evidence-based practicesMonitor wound/ostomy/skin care, and assist with patient transport as needed Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; BSN preferredActive Illinois RN licenseACLS and BLS certificationsMinimum 1 year inpatient nursing experience; ICU, ER, radiology, or wound care experience preferredCertifications in wound, ostomy, and continence nursing are advantageous Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical assessment and communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively within a teamCommitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
