RN Contract L&D Float Pool

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Float to various units as needed as part of the resource pool.
• Participate in on-call status as required.
• Perform population-specific competencies.
• Manage and document patient care, including:
  • Assessment and reassessments.
  • Development of the plan of care.
  • Implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions.
  • Supervision and coordination of care delegation to licensed and non-licensed personnel.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students.
• Ensure a physical environment free of hazards to self and others.
• Supervise and coordinate patient care delegation to licensed and non-licensed personnel, including delegated assignments, monitoring of patient care, facilitating problem-solving, and staff education/training.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member.
• 3 years of RN patient care experience in a hospital setting OR 1 year of RN patient care experience in a hospital setting with ECMO/LVAD certification.
• Current BLS certification upon hire or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification based on competency level or completion within 90 days of hire.
• Must operate a personal vehicle (non-INTEGRIS-owned) and have a current driver’s license with an acceptable driving record per our insurance carrier.
• Additional qualifications required for assignment in specialty areas such as Critical Care, Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, Surgical Services, Behavioral Health, or Rehab. Experience, knowledge, and competency validation will occur prior to placement in a specialty area.
• Department-specific competencies will be completed during the orientation process.

Requirements

• Expected to work all shifts assigned by the float pool leader.
• Will float to different departments, including the Emergency Department, and facilities as needed, including mid-shift.
• Expected to work a minimum of 36 hours per week, including four weekend shifts per month.
• Must work all holidays during the assignment period.

Pay

$70 per hour.
