Responsibilities
- Works towards achieving quality and safety outcomes
- Aids in clinical staff development
- Serves as a clinical lead and resource to all clinical staff
- Hires, coaches, trains, educates, and provides feedback on performance evaluations
- Incorporates proper training and development of low performing staff
- Collaborates with nursing administration, practice leadership, and other administrative staff
- Creates efficient clinical services, implements process improvements, and assists in quality initiatives
- Assists with rooming patients and triage as needed
- Adheres to established quality principles and standards
Requirements
- Collaborate with others in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude toward problem-solving
- Some travel to various locations within the Indianapolis area required
- Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Three years of related professional nursing experience
- Two years of clinical supervision or lead experience preferred
- Computer skills for documentation and work-related purposes are required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Demonstrates customer service skills to provide exceptional patient and family experience
- Maintains strong internal and patient/staff relations
- Accountable and self-directed
Qualifications
- Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana
