About the role
The RN Clinical Supervisor - Ambulatory is responsible for leading and supporting clinical staff in multiple Ear, Nose, and Throat clinics across Indianapolis, Anderson, Kokomo, Noblesville, and Westfield. This role involves collaborating with nursing administration, practice leadership, and other administrative staff to enhance clinical services, implement process improvements, and support quality initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Works towards achieving quality and safety outcomes
- Assists with clinical staff development
- Serves as a clinical lead and resource to all clinical staff
- Hires, coaches, trains, educates, and provides feedback on performance evaluations
- Incorporates proper training and development of low-performing staff
- Collaborates with nursing administration, practice leadership, and other administrative staff to create efficient clinical services
- Affixes to established quality principles and standards
- Assists with rooming patients and triage as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing
- Licensed RN with a valid Indiana license in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- 3 years of medical office experience required
- 2 years of clinical supervision or lead experience preferred
- Computer skills for documentation and work-related purposes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Demonstrates customer service skills
- Able to maintain strong internal and patient/staff relations
- Accountable and self-directed
