About the role

The Clinical Program Manager RN leads, manages, and has overall accountability for the stroke program. They provide direction to the clinical and operational activities of the program in accordance with Providence Little Company of Mary South Bay Mission and Core Values and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction to the clinical and operational activities of the program.
  • Create an environment that fosters a multidisciplinary team and collaborative approach to care.
  • Achieve operational and clinical "Best Practice."
  • Work with department directors, leaders, and caregivers as the subject matter expert for the program's care and quality.
  • Assist nursing, medical providers and ancillary staff in providing quality care outcomes for the care of patients.
  • Maintain and monitor data in compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and relevant quality and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Strategically align priorities that support ministry goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire or California Registered Nurse License upon hire or Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire or New Mexico Registered Nurse License Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire or Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire or Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • Certification in area of specialty within 1 year of hire
  • 5 years of Clinical Registered Nursing experience in acute care setting

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree and Graduate Nurse Practitioner Program preferred
  • 1 year of Experience in leadership role preferred

Skills

Possesses clinical knowledge related to the recognition, care and treatment and brings a cohesive element to care, providing support with assuring the provision of comprehensive care management, and providing education for staff, patients and families.
