Job Summary

To support and coordinate clinical quality improvement initiatives. To perform job duties in accordance with the medical center's purpose.

Education & Experience

  • Required: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in healthcare management, healthcare quality improvement, case management, performance improvement, or direct patient care.
  • Required: Valid RN License

Responsibilities

  • Captures ongoing clinical quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and committees to assure that evidence-based clinical quality goals and outcomes are developed and implemented using appropriate standards of care.
  • Serves as liaison as appropriate.
  • Edits and educates others on clinical quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensures integration of clinical quality improvement initiatives into the day-to-day operations.
  • Provides feedback to medical staff and administration regarding outcomes from clinical improvement initiatives during and after implementation, and regarding outcomes of performance measures of clinical pathways.
  • Serves as a mentor and facilitator to clinical outcome improvement teams.
  • Creates templates for streamlining clinical outcomes improvement team development, pathway development and implementation.
  • Serves on at least one nursing council, hospital, or medical center committee, task force, or project team to improve patient care or work area.
  • Demonstrates core standards of exceptional customer service.
