About the role

Serves as a clinical expert providing education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration, and ethical decision-making for patients and surgical services staff. Acts as a change agent and promotes quality through the utilization of clinical expertise. Provides clinical care as needed when staffing and/or caseload demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership as required.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Required)
• 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience (Required)
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNLC Multistate Licensure (Required)
• BCLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
• Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN) (Preferred)
