Job Summary
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a CVOR RN for a contract position in Tuscaloosa, AL.
About the Role
Provides leadership to other team members by articulating and delegating expected standards of care, supervising and encouraging team members, and supporting their contributions. Supervises LPNs, PCAs, PCAs/US, US, Ortho Techs and other non-licensed staff.
Responsibilities
- Maintains standards of professional nursing practice and creates positive therapeutic relationships with patients/families.
- Circulates between units and hospitals as needed.
- Coordinates and directs quality, compassionate care.
- Supervises LPNs, PCAs, PCAs/US, US, Ortho Techs and other non-licensed staff.
- Floats to other units and hospitals as required.
- Works 5x8 schedule, 40 hours per week.
- Every other weekend shift.
- Holidays as required.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license.
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and RED CROSS certifications.
- 2 years of experience in the field of specialty, or 18 months with 1 year of recent experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Associated degree in nursing.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
