RN Clinical Education Manager

Responsibilities

• Leads strategies based on industry and organizational data to implement initiatives improving nursing care delivery.
• Provides leadership in developing programs to support career pathways for team members within the nursing workforce pipeline.
• Collaborates with academic and community organizations to create experiential learning opportunities for students and prospective allied health and nursing employees.
• Conducts periodic assessments and evaluations of innovative nursing programs, implementing changes as necessary.
• Works with leaders and stakeholders to identify, implement, and evaluate processes that drive exceptional clinical outcomes through nursing workforce innovation.
• Participates in organizational leadership programs to oversee clinical quality training and develop measures to improve patient care quality.

Requirements

• Knowledge of best practices and skills associated with professional nursing
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Provides quality coaching and mentoring support
• Ability to function well with a diverse community and employee population
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suites products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
• Change management and/or Process improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Nursing
• Field Of Study in Nursing/related field or Business Administration
• 5+ years as a staff nurse in an acute care setting
• PREFERRED: Education experience
