Responsibilities
- Leads strategies based on industry and organizational data to implement initiatives improving nursing care delivery.
- Provides leadership in developing programs to support career pathways for team members within the nursing workforce pipeline.
- Collaborates with academic and community organizations to create experiential learning opportunities for students and prospective allied health and nursing employees.
- Conducts periodic assessments and evaluations of innovative nursing programs, implementing changes as necessary.
- Works with leaders and stakeholders to identify, implement, and evaluate processes that drive exceptional clinical outcomes through nursing workforce innovation.
- Participates in organizational leadership programs to oversee clinical quality training and develop measures to improve patient care quality.
Requirements
- Knowledge of best practices and skills associated with professional nursing
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Provides quality coaching and mentoring support
- Ability to function well with a diverse community and employee population
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suites products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
- Change management and/or Process improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Nursing
- Field Of Study in Nursing/related field or Business Administration
- 5+ years as a staff nurse in an acute care setting
- PREFERRED: Education experience
