Role Overview
The Manager of Nursing Practice and Clinical Education is responsible for designing and implementing educational programs to enhance clinical competency among nurses, medical assistants, and allied health staff. They serve as a trusted advisor to clinic leadership on staff development, nursing roles, procedures, and scope of practice, directly influencing the quality of patient care. The position involves leadership in clinical education, staff development, and collaboration with physicians and practice managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive clinical education programs to improve staff skills and knowledge.
- Advise clinic leadership on nursing practices, staff development, and scope of practice.
- Support quality of care initiatives through staff training and development.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's Degree in Nursing or completion within 6 months of hire.
- Current Washington RN license.
- Minimum 2 years management experience.
- At least 5 years of related nursing experience.
- Preferred qualifications include an MSN in Nursing Education or Leadership, BLS certification, and relevant national nursing certifications.
