RN/Clinical Education Coordinator |Cardiac Progressive Care Unit | New Market Pay Increase

Responsibilities

• Ensures patient-centered care and optimal patient outcomes through direct practice, clinical and professional leadership, expert coaching and guidance, consultation, collaboration, education, quality improvement initiatives, research skills an ethical decision-making.
• Counsels and guides staff in the provision of patient care.
• Conducts needs assessments, employs evidence-based educational methodologies, acts as a change agent to promote evidence-based practice, provides expert consultation to direct care staff, conducts orientation programs for new staff, evaluates initial and ongoing competency validation processes, and actively participates in quality improvement activities.
• Conducts multidisciplinary rounds on assigned units.

Requirements

• Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Nursing
• Required Experience: BSN and five (5) years job related experience as a clinical educator
• Preferred Experience: MSN and three (3) years experience as a clinical educator
• Excellent computer, clinical, and communication skills as well as significant experience developing, teaching and coordinating educational programs for adult learners.

Qualifications

• License to practice as an RN in the State of Florida

Pay

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule
