Responsibilities
- Coordinates the delivery of nursing services to patients across the organization.
- Ensures adequate nursing staff through the management of nursing staff resources.
- Facilitates and coordinates bed assignments within the hospital.
- Directs and collaborates with appropriate department managers to facilitate and expedite patient movement.
- Assists the Directors of Nursing and Nurse Managers in continuous staff development, human resource management, and in promoting quality care.
- Responsible for clinical and/or non-clinical administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the Emergency Department or Intensive Care Units (after orientation training).
- Experience participating in or running rapid response/code teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – Required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – Required.
- Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree – Required.
- 5 years experience as a RN in an Acute Care setting – Required.
- General experience in a Clinical Management Role – Preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required.
- PA Registered Nurse License – Required.
Schedule
Per Diem, whichever shift is needed: 7a‑7p (Days) or 7p‑7a (Nights).
