The Clinical Coordinator is a registered nurse responsible for providing leadership within a department, supporting quality patient care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Overall, the Clinical Coordinator advances patient outcomes, staff engagement, and operational effectiveness through strategic leadership and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Managing departmental activities
• Coordinating supplies and equipment
• Collaborating with surgeons, staff, vendors, and management to maintain operational efficiency
• Implementing and reviewing policies
• Promoting safe practices
• Fostering open communication among team members and physicians
• Partnering with management and educators to facilitate staff training, onboarding, and professional development, emphasizing evidence-based practice and ethical standards
• Participating in performance improvement initiatives focusing on quality care, cost containment, and process efficiency
• Serving as a resource and role model for nursing practice, supporting change management and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment
• Building interdisciplinary partnerships and promoting service excellence through strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure
• Knowledge of nursing standards and ethics
• Experience in clinical leadership
