Responsibilities

• Fulfills essential duties as outlined in the job description.
• Manages patients with THA, TKA, spinal surgery, and manages isolation precautions for cystic fibrosis, abdominal organ transplants, and advanced therapeutic modalities.
• Performs dialysis treatments, initiates, performs, and terminates treatments according to policy and standards of care.
• Engages psychiatric patients in therapeutic interactions, maintains a therapeutic milieu, and monitors for patient safety.
• Applies de-escalation techniques to prevent behavioral restraint/seclusion and continuously monitors patients for safety.
• Participates in professional hospital/nursing activities and maintains quality measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• One year acute inpatient hospital experience in the United States.
• Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and conditions, and ability to understand, follow, and perform duties as per administrative and clinical policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Committed to excellence in patient care and customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license from the CA Board of Registered Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.

Skills
