RN - Clinic (Brain & Spine)

Role Overview The Ambulatory Nurse provides patient-centered care within the RN scope, focusing on individuals with neck, back, or spine-related diagnoses. The role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery. Responsibilities Deliver competent care to patients and families, ensuring adherence to standards and scope of practice.Maintain complete and accurate documentation of care provided.Educate patients and groups on health and wellness topics.Serve as a preceptor and support staff and student development.Lead quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing departmental standing orders.Triage patient phone calls, assist with procedures in the Injection Suite, and support office procedures such as IV starts, MRI and injection screenings, and wound care.Assist providers with surgeries, injections, staples, stitches removal, and surgery scheduling. Qualifications & Skills Current BLS certification (AHA) within 30 days.Valid Illinois RN license.College diploma in Nursing.Strong clinical skills, leadership, and patient education abilities.
