RN Charge Skilled Nursing

About the role

Baylor Scott & White Continuing Care Hospital (CCH) in Temple is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to lead our Skilled Nursing Unit on day shift.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Charge Nurse for the Skilled Nursing Unit, providing clinical leadership and operational oversight during assigned shifts
• Cookordinate patient care and patient flow while ensuring safe staffing and appropriate resource utilization
• Support, mentor, and guide nursing staff, promoting teamwork and professional development
• Collaborate closely with physicians, case management, therapy services, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and standards
• Monitor patient conditions, address clinical concerns, and escalate issues as needed
• Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive unit culture

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current Texas RN license
• 3 Years Of Clinical Experience Required
• Previous experience in Skilled Nursing, MS acute care, or long-term acute care, strongly preferred
• Prior Charge Nurse Or Leadership Experience Preferred
