About the role
Provides leadership and coordination of nursing staff in a clinical setting, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors staff during shifts, including performance evaluations.
- Assesses patient care needs and develops appropriate care assignments.
- Collaborates with advanced practice providers to optimize outcomes.
- Evaluates patient care effectiveness and addresses issues impacting outcomes.
- Responds to patient care complaints and manages them via established channels.
- Contributes to hiring, training, and staff development.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
- Minimum of one year registered nurse experience.
- Licenses and certifications including BLS, ACLS or PALS, and state-specific RN licensure.
Skills
