About the Role

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs within a collaborative care team. They serve as a key communication link between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient advocacy and satisfaction. The nurse participates in performance improvement initiatives, maintains professional competence, and supports shared governance through council involvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions, develop and execute care plans, document care activities, and prioritize patient flow.
• Address patient concerns, educate families, and promote patient-centered care (Patient Advocacy).
• Contribute to process enhancements and quality outcomes (Performance Improvement).
• Maintain licenses, seek development opportunities, mentor colleagues, and uphold standards of confidentiality, safety, and professionalism (Professional Growth & Leadership).
• Support organizational policies and foster a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred.
• Valid RN license (multi-state or single-state).
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
