RN Charge Nurse Leader - Operating Room

Responsibilities

• Assessment, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of patient-centered care.
• Facilitating, precepting, and mentoring staff and team members for professional growth and skill advancement.
• Continuous assessment of unit needs to ensure adequate resources for shifts, collaborating with various departments and teams.
• Demonstrating professionalism, meeting regulatory and policy requirements, adhering to standards of practice, and holding team members accountable for safe, competent practice, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree within 3 years of hire.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
• CPR required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC required (if required and not current, must be obtained within 6 months of employment).
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities.
• Demonstrated professional and ethical behavior.
• Passionate about nursing and teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 3-4 years of OR experience required.
• Leadership experience strongly preferred.
