Lead & Mentor Teams
Direct, educate, and supervise nursing and support staff, ensuring peak performance through hands-on mentorship and meaningful performance evaluations.
Optimize Clinical Operations
- Exercise independent judgment to manage daily patient care assignments, balancing staff productivity with high-quality, population-appropriate care.
Strategic Resource Management
- Oversee unit logistics, including supply availability and shift planning, while swiftly resolving patient care concerns through established institutional channels.
Drive Unit Excellence
- Prioritize complex patient and physician dynamics and provide critical input on key personnel decisions, including hiring, transfers, and promotions.
Minimum Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Required if working in labor & delivery setting.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Required if working in labor & delivery setting.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in pediatric critical care setting.
Education
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
Labor and Delivery and ED experience needed.
