About the role
The role is for a travel nurse RN specializing in Labor and Delivery in Utica, New York.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to pregnant patients in various stages of labor and delivery.
- Utilize specialized equipment such as OBIX to feed information into the Stork system.
- Triage, antepartum, and postpartum patients as needed.
- Work in a unit with 18-30 beds including 2 antepartum beds, 2 ORs for c-sections, 3 recovery beds, and 8 L&D beds.
- Participate in block scheduling shifts of 12 hours, days.
- Floating required within the hospital.
- Must have scrub color Ceil Blue.
Requirements
- At least 4-5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Up-to-date resume documenting travel experience.
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications.
- NURSYS Report license must be included at the time of submission.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC/Stork.
Benefits
