RN Case Manager - Per Diem

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years of diverse clinical experience, including two years in Utilization Review, Management, or Case Management. The role involves ensuring quality healthcare outcomes by establishing safe, individualized discharge plans and providing proficient utilization management services to maximize reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Establish safe, individualized discharge plans
• Provide timely utilization management services
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Ensure maximum reimbursement for patient visits

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• Current Nevada RN license
• Knowledge of social and physical factors affecting discharge and community resources
• Proficiency in computer applications such as word processing and data management
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care/service
