About the Role

Garden Spring Nursing & Rehabilitation of Willow Grove, PA is searching for a Registered Nurse (RN) Cart with a proven track-record of success to join and support our nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely following physician orders
• Perform routine and ongoing resident assessments and document changes in condition
• Monitor vital signs, lab results, and overall resident status
• Update and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and healthcare team members
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Participate in shift reports, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide compassionate care that promotes dignity, respect, and resident-centered outcomes

Requirements

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and experience with EMR systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift residents as needed
• Capability to push medication carts and assist with resident mobility
• Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations

Work Environment

• Skilled nursing facility setting with elderly and/or rehabilitative residents
• Exposure to medical equipment, infectious diseases, and varying patient conditions
