Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team responsible for delivering individualized, high-quality, safe patient care in a clinical environment supported by shared governance and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based standards.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families in care planning.
• Coordinate safe, quality care through effective communication, documentation, teamwork, and collaboration.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities to promote best practices.
• Support professional development by completing competency assessments and mentoring colleagues.
• Promote evidence-based practice, adhere to policies, and contribute to protocol development.
• Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, optimizing resource use and safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience required; prior direct patient care preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
