Suncoast Hospice, a part of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated Hospice Care Center Registered Nurse to work at our Care Center in Hillsborough, providing exceptional care during night shifts. Since 1977, Suncoast Hospice has served neighbors across Pinellas and Hillsborough counties with compassionate end‑of‑life care. Responsibilities
- Is responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing preventive and supportive care to the terminally ill patient/family unit.
- Utilizes assessment, intervention and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life for the patient/family unit.
- Provides oversight and supervision of the LPN and/or aide for the delivery of patient care in the GIP environment.
- The RN reports to the Patient/Family Care Coordinator/Care Center Manager.
- Required to float if needed.
