About the role
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiac Telemetry unit in a fast‑paced hospital setting. The unit has a 35‑bed capacity with a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:4 and support staff such as PCAs. Key diagnoses encountered include STEMI, CHF, arrhythmias, hypertension, stroke, and post‑cardiac procedures. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to cardiac and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications
- Collaborate with care teams
- Educate patients and families
Qualifications
- Active RN license (Missouri or compact)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (to be obtained within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Skills
- Experience in telemetry, cardiac, or critical care nursing
- Strong clinical judgment
