Mercy Hospital Washington is hiring Registered Nurses for our Cardiac Telemetry unit. This role is ideal for nurses interested in cardiac care, acute care nursing, and advancing clinical skills in a fast‑paced hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for cardiac and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health and recovery
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
- Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
- Coordinate patient care with other departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Missouri or compact license)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within 30 days)
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- Experience in telemetry, cardiac care, critical care, or medical‑surgical nursing
- Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
