About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our 35-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit. The role involves providing direct patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 and support from Patient Care Assistants (PCAs). Key conditions managed include STEMI, CHF, arrhythmias, hypertension, and post-cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Telemetry unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Qualifications
Preferred candidates have experience in telemetry, cardiac, or critical care nursing.
