Trinity Health Livonia is a 304-bed acute care hospital in Livonia, MI, providing comprehensive care including:
- 24-hour emergency department
- General medicine
- Inpatient and outpatient surgery

3E: Progressive Care Unit
This 19-bed unit specializes in caring for patients with complex cardiac conditions. Common diagnoses include:
- Congestive heart failure (CHF)
- Chest pain
- Atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response (RVR)
The unit is telemetry-equipped, provides continuous cardiac monitoring, and can manage cardiac drips and stable ventilator patients. Nurses are expected to be highly skilled in cardiac care, critical thinking, and delivering exceptional treatment in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care during a designated timeframe
- Coordinate and evaluate care
- Teach and delegate patient activities to the health care team
- Apply the nursing process and therapeutic use of self
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years
- Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required
- BLS certification required
- Previous medical surgical experience preferred
- Computer proficiency and excellent customer service skills
