About the role
We are searching for a talented RN with 2+ years of RN Cardiac Cath experience. A $5,000 new hire sign-on bonus is available; rehires termed greater than 1 year are eligible. This position is located at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA.
Hours: 36 hours per week, day shift, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off. On-call requirements: 1 major and 1 minor holiday, 1 weekday per week, and 1 weekend per month.
Responsibilities
- Under direction of the Administrative and Medical Director, perform diversified duties within and in support of the Structural Heart and Cardiac Cath Departments, including preparing patients for procedures, pre- and post-procedure patient teaching, and conducting nursing assessments.
- Identify potential patient problems and discuss findings with the physician.
- Assist the physician with cardiac catheterization, interventional, and structural heart procedures such as advanced transcatheter cardiac therapies, valve procedures (mitral and aortic), left atrial appendage procedures, left ventricular support devices, and adult congenital heart catheter therapies.
- Operate technical instruments for patient monitoring, surgical intervention, and image processing.
- Calculate, prepare, and administer pharmaceuticals within the scope of practice.
- Identify and interpret physiologic reactions and take appropriate action.
- Maintain a permanent record of significant functional, anatomical, and/or pathological data for each patient and document notes clearly and concisely.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- BSN Degree is preferred.
- Critical care or cardiology experience required; a minimum of one year of Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology experience is preferred.
- CPR and ACLS certifications are required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the exemption.

Pay
Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $42.37 - USD $77.81 per hour.
