About the role
Join Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital’s team of caregivers that provide top-quality patient care to the Port St. Lucie area. Opening its doors in 2013 and expanding in 2017, this state-of-the-art acute care facility has 177 patient rooms and offers a wide variety of services to meet community needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
- Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Educate patients and their families, considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or ALS American Red Cross certification must be presented upon hire or within first year of employment based on the department service level RN is hired into
- One year of current critical care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- ER, CVICU, ICU and/or Cath Lab experience

Schedule
A caregiver who excels in this role works days from 7:00AM – 5:30PM, with on-call requirements.
