Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Campus Float RN at St. Francis Medical Center, you will bring your clinical expertise to provide exceptional patient care across multiple units.
Every day, you will build trust in these interactions by presenting a positive attitude and by being reliable.
Your success in this role comes from your knowledge to provide care to various disease processes in a variety of situations ranging from minor to critical while being able to consistently remain calm and positive.
- Monitoring patients’ conditions and assessing their needs
- Collaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Administering patients’ medications and providing treatments according to physicians’ orders
- Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
Required
- Graduate of a RN nursing program.
- Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or nurse licensure compact.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association is required upon hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 5 months of hire.
