Job Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within five(5) months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within five(5) months of hire
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Campus Float RN at Good Samaritan Hospital, you will bring your clinical expertise to provide exceptional patient care across multiple units. Every day, you will build trust in these interactions by presenting a positive attitude and by being reliable. Your success in this role comes from your knowledge to provide care to various disease processes in a variety of situations ranging from minor to critical while being able to consistently remain calm and positive.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort
- Monitor patients' conditions and assess their needs
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Administer patients' medications and provide treatments according to physicians' orders
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
