Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, multidisciplinary, coordinated care for all breast patients through comprehensive and personalized patient-centered care.
- Work in partnership with breast cancer patients and families through prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.
- Provide patient education and coordinate care for patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer or other breast conditions.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes genetic counselors, breast surgeons, plastic surgeons, medical oncologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists and advanced practice providers.
- Use targeted assessment skills to assess patients during visits and via telephone triage.
Requirements
- Graduate of school of nursing
- Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Required 6 months of RN experience
- Preferred Relevant Inpatient RN experience
- Preferred Ambulatory experience
- Preferred Relevant oncology experience
- Preferred Chemotherapy experience
- Preferred Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills
- Upon Hire Required Current CPR/BLS certification
Qualifications
- Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact
- Preferred Certification in specialty area of practice

Schedule
Monday – Friday with hours between 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. No weekends. No holidays. No call. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

You will work at the University Hospital and Eastpark Medical Center both located in Madison, WI.
