RN Medical Oncology Clinic

About the role

At Saint Alphonsus Health System, we are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Caldwell and Nampa Medical Oncology Clinics. Ideal candidates should be passionate about their work, have exceptional communication skills, and possess a background in Oncology or Triage experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in coordination with licensed providers
• Administer medications, maintain a safe nursing area
• Provide education and resources to patients and families based on their needs
• Serve as a mentor to clinical staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and preserve confidential information
• Make decisions and take action in stressful situations, while providing outstanding customer service

Requirements

• Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred
• An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE
• A current RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire
• All colleagues must provide licensure or proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within 90 days of the hire date
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire
