Pay
The Pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.
Schedule
This is an Hourly position.
Benefits
Sign-On Bonus Eligible!
- $10,000 with a 2 year work commitment (external candidates)
- $15,000 with a 2 year work commitment for Oncology Experience (external candidates)
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in nursing
- Experience: 1 year of nursing experience
- Licensure/ Certification: Illinois Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) &/or a magnet approved certification or obtained within 3 years of hire.
- Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate within 3 months of hire for sites administering chemotherapy.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Experience: 1 year or more of Oncology nursing in an outpatient setting
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Cancer Care Center Registered Nurse will provide expert care for oncology patients using a multidisciplinary approach. The Cancer Care Center Registered Nurse evaluates and treats oncology patients, following outlined protocols. Compassionate care and ongoing professional development are key to success in this role.
