The Behavioral Health Float Pool consists of floating between Adult Behavioral Health, Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health, as well as the Behavioral Health unit in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Comprehensive Care: Provide nursing care that is holistic, compassionate, and centered on the individual needs of each patient.
• Exercise Professional Autonomy: Take responsibility for your nursing practice by making informed decisions and promoting health, recognizing that quality care is a universal right.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with patients and a multidisciplinary team (Behavioral Health Technicians, Nursing Assistants, Health Unit Coordinators, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists, Counselors, and Psychiatrists) to assess concerns, identify issues, and integrate both subjective and objective data.
• Implement and Evaluate Care Plans: Develop tailored care plans, apply appropriate interventions, and continuously evaluate patient outcomes to enhance overall care quality.

Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure in Minnesota.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire.
• Behavioral Health experience preferred.
• Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to: ADN: $7,500; BSN: $10,000.

Pay

Compensation range: $47.03 – $70.87 per hour. Additionally, float pool positions receive an extra $2.00 per hour upon hire.

Schedule

• 0.7 FTE.
• 8‑hour shifts.
• Day/Eve rotation.
• Every other weekend.
• Shift start times: 0700 and 1500.
• Shift end times: 1530 and 2330.
• Holidays: yes.
• Call obligation: no.
• Union: Miller Dwan MNA RNs (MDR
