About the role
At Marymount Hospital’s Adult Behavioral Health Center, RNs deliver inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency care within a Magnet-recognized, faith-based hospital that blends compassionate service with exceptional medical expertise. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to behavioral health patients
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Assess, record, and communicate patients’ conditions and responses to treatment
- Evaluate, update, and revise plans of care to achieve expected outcomes
- Carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs and community resource connections
- Educate patients and families using culturally sensitive materials and approaches
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per approved nursing protocols
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Current Ohio RN licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting (licensed military RN experience considered)
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Physical requirements
- Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients
- Manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Corrected vision and hearing to normal range
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and irregular hours
- Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids
- Medium work: occasionally exerting 20–50 lbs, frequently 10–25 lbs, constantly up to 10 lbs
Schedule
- Rotating day/night shifts: 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
- Every other weekend and holiday requirements

Pay
Hourly pay range for new hires: $35.50 – $55.60 (actual compensation determined by work history, experience, skill set, and education; does not include shift differentials, overtime, or benefits value).
