About the role
Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients, adhering to facility policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Conducts patient assessments and analyzes data using critical thinking
- Participates in treatment planning
- Documents care accurately
- Implements physician orders
- Monitors safety
- Supervises LPNs and techs
- Educates patients and families
- Applies evidence-based practices
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active RN license in the relevant state
- BLS certification in the relevant state
- Demonstrates professionalism, alertness, and adherence to ethical standards
Physical & Certification Requirements
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, lifting, and supporting patient movement
- BLS certification
- RN licensure per state regulations
Schedule
Works in rotating shifts, primarily evenings and nights, including weekends and holidays.
