About the Role
Marymount Hospital, a 269-registered bed acute care, faith-based hospital and member of the Cleveland Clinic Healthcare System, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Adult Behavioral Health Center. This center offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency programs, including inpatient care, medication management, structured therapeutic programming, scheduled recreational activities, nutrition and medication management, and access to community resources for ongoing support. As part of this collaborative team, you will assist in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience and provide healthcare information.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Evaluate, update, and revise plans of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Educate patients and families with educational materials, considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program).
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
- One-year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting (will consider licensed military RN experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Physical Requirements
- Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
- Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
- Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
- Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Schedule
This position works days from 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
Pay
Pay range for new hires: $35.50 – $55.60 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. This range does not include shift differentials, overtime, or the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental, vision, retirement savings contributions).
