About the role
Bed Control Registered Nurse responsible for coordinating and assigning hospital beds, collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal service.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Work closely with physicians, emergency, inpatient, and surgical teams
- Utilize problem-solving and customer service skills to determine the best course of action for patients and staff
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school with a Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of RN experience in acute care, preferably critical care or emergency services
- Proficient in EPIC EMR platform
- Current Georgia RN license or multistate license (NLC/eNLC)
- BCLS certification
Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent customer service
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in leadership roles preferred
