RN - Assistant Nurse Manager

Role Overview: The Assistant Nurse Manager provides clinical and operational leadership in collaboration with the Nursing Manager, overseeing care delivery, resource management, risk mitigation, and staff supervision. Key Responsibilities: Develops and improves care models to enhance patient, family, staff, and provider satisfaction.Ensures compliance with nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.Promotes transparency, collaboration, and accountability within the team.Enhances nursing practice quality and optimizes resource allocation.Supervises multidisciplinary staff, ensuring efficient, compassionate, and competent care delivery. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 3 years' experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership abilities.Proficiency in nursing processes, patient education, and effective communication.Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, delegation, and multitasking skills.Ability to collaborate with healthcare providers and supervise staff, including float personnel.Educational requirements include a graduate of an accredited nursing program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.Minimum licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Skills & Specializations: Experience with patient care documentation and bed placement systems.Excellent communication, computer literacy, and staffing coordination skills.
