RN - Assistant Nurse Manager

Role Overview The Assistant Nurse Manager provides leadership in patient care, collaborating with the Nursing Manager to plan, organize, monitor, and evaluate nursing services. Key responsibilities include managing fiscal, human resources, risk, and operational functions, contributing to strategic planning, program development, and maintaining 24-hour accountability. Key Responsibilities Develops and improves care delivery models to enhance patient, family, staff, and provider satisfaction.Ensures compliance with nursing practice acts and professional standards, promoting transparency and interdisciplinary collaboration.Enhances nursing practice quality and service effectiveness.Optimizes resource allocation and manages a multidisciplinary team to deliver competent, efficient, and compassionate care. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 3 years in an acute care setting with leadership experience.Proficiency in nursing processes, effective communication, and computer skills.Ability to multitask, delegate, prioritize, and solve problems.Experience in supervising staff, coordinating staffing, and educating patients/families.Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.Skills in documentation systems and bed placement systems. Licensure & Certifications Registered Nurse (RN); BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
