RN Assistant Clinical Manager - Emergency Department - Full Time - Nights

About the Role

The Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager. This position plans, organizes, and directs the provision of patient care services within the Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma, Magnet Designated organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department.
• Assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
• Meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards, and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy: Communication, Ownership, Understanding, Motivation, Sensitivity, Excellence, Teamwork, Respect.
• Practice customer service skills as provided through on-going training and in-services.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Two (2) years of RN experience.
• Current RN License in the State of Michigan.
• BCLS / ACLS per unit’s standards.
• Certifications appropriate for the specific unit.
