RN Ambulatory - Oncology Infusion, Float

About the role

The Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Cleveland Clinic’s Twinsburg Family Health and Surgery Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities

• Assist fellow caregivers in providing exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off.
• Interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering healthcare information and enhancing their experience.
• Work between 7:00am and 5:00pm, with occasional weekend rotations.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department as needed.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• One year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area.
• Cancer-specific certification or demonstrated ongoing qualifying education.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross, One year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area, Cancer-specific certification or demonstrated ongoing qualifying education.
• Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Skills

• Physical Requirements: Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
• May require some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
• Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects.
• Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

Pay

The pay range for this role is minimum hourly: $33.50 and maximum hourly: $53.40. The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package.
