Responsibilities

• Coordinate the admission process for Veterans and the facility, including pre-admission packets, evaluation visits of referrals, preparation of waiting lists, and notification of admissions
• Represent the facility throughout the community to raise awareness of services available to Veterans
• Provide supervision, coordination, and evaluation of day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations on a 24/7 basis as needed

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduation from an approved RN program
• Current, unencumbered, active RN license in this state
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with the Department of Motor Vehicles
