Join Cleveland Clinic Akron General, a 100-year-old healthcare organization dedicated to patient-centered care and community service. The 5400 Oncology Unit at Akron General provides comprehensive cancer care, training, and hands-on learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to cancer patients, including administering treatments and medication.
• Document patient care and outcomes, and participate in quality improvement processes.
• Delegate tasks, serve as a resource person, and pursue ongoing education and certifications.
• Work nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN); current state RN license; BLS certification.
• Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to handle stress, and proficiency in handling medical equipment are essential.
