Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology - Acute Care

About the Role

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, practicing evidence-based nursing aligned with professional standards and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Partner with patients and families using relationship-based care tailored to cultural and individual needs.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care, promoting teamwork and respectful communication.
• Support performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in professional development, mentoring, and maintaining clinical competencies.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management for optimal care delivery.
• Deliver individualized care, advocate for patients, ensure compliance with safety standards, participate in quality initiatives, and support a healthy, team-oriented work environment.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Active RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical, direct patient care experience.
