RN Acute Care Medical Oncology Nights

About the role

This position is for a full-time night shift Registered Nurse in a Medical Oncology Unit, providing direct patient care in a moderate to high acuity acute care setting. The RN will utilize the nursing process, prioritize patient wellness, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional outcomes. Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based, top-of-scope care, precepting new staff, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized acute care in a fast-paced environment
• Implement evidence-based practices and safety protocols
• Precept and mentor new healthcare professionals
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program
• At least 6 months of RN experience
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire
