About the Role
Provide direct patient care in an acute care Medical Oncology Unit, utilizing nursing skills and evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality care, prioritize patient safety, and contribute to team efforts.
Responsibilities
- Care for moderate to high acuity patients in specialty Med-Surg units.
- Employ the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Support a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Mentor new staff and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required if less than 3 years' experience).
- Current RN licensure.
- At least 6 months of RN experience.
- BLS certification.
